Random 2

As the NBA regular season comes to the end, I wonder if the Eastern Conference just as weak as the previous last 5 years? NBA superstar, LeBron James is not just getting better, but instead he is getting smarter. After 14 years in the league, LeBron is still at the top of his game, going back to the Finals 6 years in a roll. Every year around the playoff season, LeBron wakes up and transform into the machine that carries the team over any obstacle and find a way to win most series. As he is preparing for the 7th consecutive final appearances, the Eastern Conference seems to be weaker than ever.

The number one seed of the Eastern Conference, Toronto Raptors, may appear to be a strong candidates to play against the Cavs, yet any basketball fan would remember how the Raptors operate in playoff games, Choking.. The number two seeds, Boston Celtics, lost their starting shooting guard at the very beginning of the season due to a gruesome injury and they just lost the starting point guard, Kyrie Irving in the last week of the regular season. Ben Simmons and the Sixers may make some noise in the playoff, however, I don't think a rookie will be able to win championships at today's game. I hate to say it as a Kobe and Lakers fan, but it seems like LeBron will literally walk into the playoff again.

  1. I'm not entirely sure LeBron will end up in the playoffs. My little brother is a huge Basketball nerd and he thinks the Raptors have been doing well this year. He also has a lot of faith in the Sixers. So don't lose hope, I know I won't. (My brother and I are rooting for Harden on the other side, he deserves the MVP title this season.)

  2. I have no doubt that LeBron is making what I believe is his 8th straight trip to the finals. It is nearly impossible to beat him in a seven game series unless you have four All-Stars like the Warriors. The playoffs should be great in the West though, I really think Houston can beat GSW.

  3. Since I grew up in Sweden, I haven't really followed basketball before. But out of the three biggest sports in the US---basketball, football, and baseball---I like basketball the most, because it's more fast-paced and exciting to watch. I adopted Clippers as my team when I moved to LA, but just like you, I'm sad that neither of the LA teams made it to the playoffs.
